I am pleased to present a quick snapshot of professional and personal work that engages the senses, encourages tactility and tells elegant product stories.
This is a reflection on the last 10 years as a keen-eyed, multi-faceted designer working for some of the most prestigious brands in luxury retail and lifestyle interiors.

Global Store Design
2020 - present
Leading Innovation + Development at the British fragrance and lifestyle brand.
I currently lead new store design initiatives and special projects at Jo Malone London. The brand is renowned for elegant colognes, candles and bath & body products. It’s a quintessentially British experience with retail spaces inspired by Georgian architecture and London townhouses.
With the help of the global creative teams, I design and create new retail fixtures, design families and store formats to enhance the JML experience worldwide and in the future. This involves defining global standards in design, construction quality and material sourcing.
I have developed key visual identities to evolve and engage new ways of product storytelling at JML. From new furniture, detailed components, material languages and entire concept stores:
Located in the heart of London’s financial district, the refurbishment of JML Royal Exchange aims at a Men’s product offering and tests a new visual language inspired by loft apartments and member’s clubs.
(more to come as this is an ongoing role)
I wanted to be considered a good craftsman.
I wanted my dresses to be constructed like buildings…
Christian Dior
Retail Design
2015 - 2020
Design and project management of luxury concessions in UK + Ireland.
The world of Dior beauty is defined by a rich heritage + exceptional luxury. I designed in-store layouts for the brand to help customers discover the 3-axes of fragrance, makeup and skincare. I also managed the project budget and installation to personally oversee costs and final opening.
A major project for me was bringing to life the most exciting makeup experience in retail. I led the national rollout of Dior Backstage Studio: a premium space that captures the pre-show energy of the Dior catwalk. It’s a buzzing theatre of light, movement, colour and music for artists to perform a makeup masterclass.
On the spatial opposite, I created the design strategy for a flexible + cost effective small-format retail concept. Built from the ground up, it reduced Dior’s architecture into modular units that could be arranged for best visual impact and advantageous layouts.
Modules could also be swapped out easily depending on future needs of the business. The concept aimed for balance, adaptability and economies of scale.
My role was defined by a vigorous acceleration plan for the UK + Ireland market. I accomplished over 60 unique sites, 10 Studios and the rollout of 50+ small formats. Elevating the physical retail experience played a key role in growing the brand 10x the market and Dior gained 6 regional rankings during my tenure.
Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.

Kitchen Design
2013 - 2015
Simple furniture, beautifully made by a renowned design-led manufacturer.
deVOL are designers + makers specialising
in handmade English furniture. As a kitchen designer, I prepared beautiful layouts in response to a brief from customers and interior designers.
I held meetings in deVOL’s beautiful showrooms in Leicestershire and London and guided customers through the details of the cabinetry, expert craftsmanship and material properties.
There’s a beauty in design simplicity and authenticity. As a deVOL designer I learned to investigate, interpret and present a spatial solution that will be enjoyed for many years.
A selection of design projects were photographed and featured prominently in deVOL’s print advertisements. On social media, these kitchens were shared worldwide and formed the basis of many Pinterest moodboards.

A personal portal of products, experiences and photography.
My Instagram feed highlights a collection of objects that inspire me. From records + sneakers to the things I carry on me every day. These products are carefully selected and loved for their design or associated memory.
I’m more active on Instagram Stories where I highlight my photography of art, design, sneakers, records, London and other places. It’s a platform for me to engage with space, share new insights and review my experiences. This content helped launch another project below…
An offline hard copy of online stories.

A self-published mini newspaper of content taken from Instagram Stories.
ON PAPER is my printed journal of content from Instagram. It’s a platform to catalogue objects, spaces and design references that inspire my work and capture my imagination. It’s a place to get my thoughts down on paper.
After a period where I found social media affecting my mental health I found it important to take a break from everything and clear my head. A newspaper provides an offline experience to curate my content away from screens and form an archive you can hold.
Each issue is printed on tactile + imperfect newspaper and showcases a handful of photo stories, amazing spaces and quirky art shows. It's a great shot of inspiration for a coffee break.
ON PAPER was originally created for friends + family. It is now stocked online, in magazine boutiques, retailers and coffee shops around London.
Future issues are set to release soon when I have the time…
